¿En qué consiste esta Mentoría?

Esta iniciativa conjunta entre el Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, el IECS y The Global Health Network LAC busca fortalecer las capacidades en investigación clínica y epidemiológica:

👉 Puentes profesionales: Acompañamiento académico y metodológico para especialistas en Infectología y Control de Infecciones.

👉 Investigación aplicada: Integración de la investigación en la práctica clínica cotidiana para mejorar la calidad de atención y seguridad del paciente.

👉 Desarrollo de competencias: Fomento del análisis crítico y la aplicación del conocimiento científico.

Ejes Temáticos y Publicaciones

Se presentan trabajos de alumnos y residentes sobre temas cruciales de infectología, incluyendo:

🔬 Bacteriemia BGN: Tratamiento corto vs. largo.

🦴 Infecciones Osteoarticulares: Presentaciones para el congreso SADI 2025.

🦠 VIH y Trasplante: Elaboración de protocolos para órgano sólido.

🔍 Diagnóstico Avanzado: Uso del PET/TC en endocarditis.

💊 Resistencia Antimicrobiana: Infecciones por Stenotrophomonas y Pseudomonas MBL+.

🏥 Epidemiología Hospitalaria: ITU intrahospitalaria y uso de antibióticos.

The new Residents and Fellows Publications, produced within the framework of the Infectious Diseases Service Mentorship at the Hospital Italiano with the support of TGHN and IECS, are now available. Access the 9 featured publications!

 

What does this Mentorship consist of?

This joint initiative between the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, IECS, and The Global Health Network LAC seeks to strengthen capacities in clinical and epidemiological research:

👉 Professional bridges: Academic and methodological support for specialists in Infectious Diseases and Infection Control.

👉 Applied research: Integration of research into daily clinical practice to improve quality of care and patient safety.

👉 Competence development: Fostering critical analysis and the application of scientific knowledge.
