SLIPE 2025: equipo del Hospital Posadas revela datos esenciales sobre la vacunación dTpa en personal de salud materno-infantil

Noviembre 2025 - Entre el 11 y el 14 de noviembre de 2025 se realizó en Puerto Varas, Chile, el XXI Congreso Latinoamericano de Infectología Pediátrica (SLIPE 2025), uno de los encuentros científicos más relevantes de la región en el ámbito de la salud infantil. Este Congreso constituyó una oportunidad única para reflexionar sobre los desafíos actuales en la infectología pediátrica y compartir avances que contribuyen a mejorar la calidad de atención que se brinda a los niños en toda Latinoamérica.

En representación del equipo de investigación del Hospital Prof. Alejandro Posadas (Buenos Aires, Argentina) participaron Marcela Alejandra Yanni y Víctor Hugo Fernández Flores, quienes presentaron los resultados del estudio “Cumplimiento de vacuna dTpa en personal de salud del área materno-infantil” sobre la adherencia del personal de salud a la vacunación con dTpa, un componente clave en la prevención de enfermedades transmisibles que afectan especialmente a recién nacidos y lactantes. Los hallazgos permiten comprender mejor las brechas existentes y proponer estrategias que fortalezcan la protección de los equipos de salud y de los pacientes.

La participación en SLIPE 2025 reafirma el compromiso del Hospital Posadas con la investigación científica y con la generación de evidencia destinada a mejorar las políticas y prácticas de salud pública en la región.

November 2025 - From November 11 to 14, 2025, the XXI Latin American Congress of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (SLIPE 2025) was held in Puerto Varas, Chile. This Congress is one of the most important scientific gatherings in the region in the field of children's health. It provided a unique opportunity to reflect on current challenges in pediatric infectious diseases and to share advances that contribute to improving the quality of care provided to children throughout Latin America.

Representing the research team from Prof. Alejandro Posadas Hospital (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Marcela Alejandra Yanni and Víctor Hugo Fernández Flores presented the results of the study " dTpa Vaccination Compliance in Maternal and Child Health Personnel." The study focused on healthcare workers' adherence to dTpa vaccination , a key component in the prevention of communicable diseases that particularly affect newborns and infants. The findings allow for a better understanding of existing gaps and the proposal of strategies to strengthen the protection of healthcare teams and patients.

Participation in SLIPE 2025 reaffirms Hospital Posadas' commitment to scientific research and to generating evidence aimed at improving public health policies and practices in the region.

Novembro de 2025 - De 11 a 14 de novembro de 2025, o XXI Congresso Latino-Americano de Doenças Infecciosas Pediátricas (SLIPE 2025) foi realizado em Puerto Varas, Chile. Este congresso é um dos mais importantes encontros científicos da região na área da saúde infantil. Proporcionou uma oportunidade única para refletir sobre os desafios atuais em doenças infecciosas pediátricas e compartilhar avanços que contribuem para a melhoria da qualidade da assistência prestada a crianças em toda a América Latina.

Representando a equipe de pesquisa do Hospital Prof. Alejandro Posadas (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Marcela Alejandra Yanni e Víctor Hugo Fernández Flores apresentaram os resultados do estudo " Adesão à vacinação dTpa em profissionais de saúde materno-infantil". O estudo focou na adesão dos profissionais de saúde à vacinação dTpa , um componente fundamental na prevenção de doenças transmissíveis que afetam particularmente recém-nascidos e lactentes. Os resultados permitem uma melhor compreensão das lacunas existentes e a proposição de estratégias para fortalecer a proteção das equipes de saúde e dos pacientes.

A participação no SLIPE 2025 reafirma o compromisso do Hospital Posadas com a pesquisa científica e com a geração de evidências que visem aprimorar as políticas e práticas de saúde pública na região.
