Resultados del Proyecto Perspectivas Globales sobre los Riesgos de Enfermedades Infecciosas.
Buenos Aires, noviembre de 2025. El Dr Javier Roberti, investigador del Instituto de Efectividad Clínica y Sanitaria (IECS) centro de The Global Health Network LAC, integró el equipo internacional del proyecto “Global perspectives on infectious diseases at risk of escalation and their drivers”, que analizó los factores que impulsan la propagación de enfermedades infecciosas con potencial de expansión a nivel mundial.
Dr Roberti, destaca que la investigación reunió a especialistas de distintos países para identificar los determinantes sociales, ambientales y económicos que favorecen la emergencia y reemergencia de infecciones.
El proyecto representa un importante aporte para la formulación de estrategias globales que permitan anticipar y mitigar futuras amenazas infecciosas, en un contexto donde la salud pública enfrenta desafíos cada vez más interconectados.

Buenos Aires, November 2025. Dr Javier Roberti, researcher at the Institute for Clinical Effectiveness and Health Policy (IECS), and part of The Global Health Network LAC, was a member of the international team for the project “Global perspectives on infectious diseases at risk of escalation and their drivers”, which analysed the factors driving the spread of infectious diseases with potential for global expansion.
Dr Roberti highlighted that the research brought together specialists from different countries to identify the social, environmental, and economic determinants that contribute to the emergence and re-emergence of infections.
The project represents an important contribution to the development of global strategies aimed at anticipating and mitigating future infectious threats, in a context where public health faces increasingly interconnected challenges.
