María Virtudes Méndez, M.A. - Bachelor's degree in nursing, with a master's degree in higher education and specializations in bioethics. Author and co-author of scientific publications and books on critical care and health management.
Meregilda Familia Nova, M.A. - Bachelor's degree in nursing, with master's degrees in research methodology and university management. Former director of the UASD School of Nursing and academic advisor in research, with extensive experience in teaching and health management.
Silvia Iris Tejada, M.A. - Bachelor's degree in Nursing, specialist in Occupational Health, and master's degree in Public Health, with extensive experience in teaching, management, and leadership in public nursing policy in the Dominican Republic.
And as moderators:
María Alicia del Castillo Dorado, M.A. - TGHN researcher - Nurse from the University of Valle de Colombia, specialist in epidemiology, with experience in public health.
Elga Xiomara Medina González, M.A. - Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pedagogue and Psychologist with master's degrees in public health, epidemiology, and educational research. Research professor at the Hospital Escuela de Honduras.

On May 28, 2025, more than 100 nursing professionals from across Latin America actively participated in this virtual meeting, where real research experiences were presented, led by Dominican nurses committed to improving the quality of care, clinical decision-making, and strengthening the research role in the health system.
This space, promoted by the Etikos Foundation and its allies, demonstrates the growing interest and leadership of nursing in the production of knowledge and the construction of a more evidence-based healthcare system.
