Taller Habilidades (Skill-Building, SB) y Taller Entrenamiento de Entrenadores (Train-the-Trainer, TTT)
Los Talleres de ““Planeación y evaluación efectivas de proyectos de investigación en salud con énfasis en Investigación de la Implementación (PEEP-IR)” se llevaron a cabo de manera exitosa y por primera vez con el enfoque IR en la ciudad de Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Durante el 21 al 24 de enero de 2025 se realizó el taller de Desarrollo de Habilidades (Skill-Building, SKB) y luego el de Entrenamiento de Entrenadores (Train-The-Trainer, TTT) del 27 al 30 de enero de 2025. Ambos talleres tuvieron como propósito fortalecer las capacidades de organización y planeación de proyectos de investigación en salud de profesionales del Hospital Escuela y sus colaboradores nacionales y regionales.
En el primer taller, SKB, se proporcionó a los participantes los conceptos y herramientas para planear, implementar, hacer seguimiento, evaluar y reportar sus propios proyectos de investigación. En el segundo, TTT, se afianzaron dichos conceptos y se reforzaron las habilidades para comunicar/presentar y capacitar que les facilitará la replicación y diseminación del taller de habilidades PEEP-IR.
Esta capacitación forma parte de las actividades de cooperación entre instituciones promovida por el Consorcio The Global Health Network Latinoamérica y el Caribe (TGHN LAC, https://lac.tghn.org/), en el cual participan instituciones de seis países latinoamericanos y la Universidad de Oxford, Reino Unido, incluyendo al Instituto Antonio Vidal y al Hospital Escuela. El consorcio es patrocinado por Wellcome Trust, Reino Unido.

Effective Planning and Evaluation of Health Research Projects with Emphasis on Implementation Research (PEEP-IR)
Skill-Building (SB) and Train-the-Trainer (TTT) Workshops
The "Effective Planning and Evaluation of Health Research Projects with Emphasis on Implementation Research (PEEP-IR)" workshops were successfully conducted for the first time with an IR focus in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
From January 21 to 24, 2025, the Skill-Building (SB) workshop was held, followed by the Train-the-Trainer (TTT) workshop from January 27 to 30, 2025. Both workshops aimed to strengthen the organizational and planning capacities of health research professionals from Hospital Escuela and its national and regional collaborators.
In the first workshop, SB, participants received concepts and tools for planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting their own research projects. In the second, TTT, these concepts were reinforced, and participants enhanced their skills in communication, presentation, and training, facilitating the replication and dissemination of the PEEP-IR skill-building workshop.
This training is part of the institutional cooperation activities promoted by The Global Health Network Latin America and the Caribbean (TGHN LAC, https://lac.tghn.org/), involving institutions from six Latin American countries and the University of Oxford, UK, including the Antonio Vidal Institute and Hospital Escuela. The consortium is funded by Wellcome Trust, UK.
