Introducción
En el marco del twinning colaborativo entre la Fundación Etikos y el Centro Nacional de Investigaciones en Salud Materno Infantil Dr. Hugo Mendoza (CENISMI), se llevó a cabo una Sesión de Aprendizaje Asistido (SAA) en las instalaciones del Hospital Infantil Dr. Robert Reid Cabral.
La actividad contó con la participación de la Dra. Jeannette Báez, directora del CENISMI, junto con el personal técnico, coordinador y operativo de la institución. Este encuentro se enmarca dentro de las acciones de fortalecimiento de capacidades en investigación en salud y bioética, que la Fundación Etikos impulsa en la región a través del proyecto The Global Health Network LAC (TGHN LAC) auspiciado por Wellcome Trust.
Objetivos de la Actividad
Presentar a los participantes la visión y alcance del proyecto TGHN LAC.
Fortalecer competencias en investigación ética y colaborativa en el ámbito de la salud materno infantil.
Orientar al equipo del CENISMI en el registro y uso de la plataforma digital de TGHN y sus cursos especializados.
Promover la integración institucional en redes internacionales de investigación y aprendizaje.
Desarrollo de la Sesión
La sesión inició con palabras de bienvenida a cargo de la Dra. Jeannette Báez, quien resaltó la importancia de la colaboración con la Fundación Etikos.
Posteriormente, el equipo de Etikos presentó los objetivos del twinning y la relevancia de la red TGHN LAC para la investigación en la región.
Se realizó un acompañamiento práctico en el proceso de registro en la plataforma The Global Health Network, guiando paso a paso al personal participante.
Finalmente, se compartieron recursos de capacitación en ética de la investigación y salud materno infantil, destacando la aplicabilidad en los proyectos actuales del CENISMI.
Resultados y Logros
Participación activa de la dirección y el personal técnico del CENISMI.
3 colaboradores orientados en el proceso de registro y acceso a recursos de TGHN.
Creación de un espacio de diálogo y cooperación institucional que refuerza la visión de investigación ética y colaborativa.
Avances concretos hacia la integración del CENISMI en la red internacional de TGHN.
La actividad permitió fortalecer la colaboración entre Fundación Etikos y CENISMI, consolidando un modelo de trabajo conjunto que potencia la investigación en salud materno infantil. Assisted Learning Session – Twinning Etikos Foundation & CENISMI

Introduction
As part of the collaborative twinning between the Etikos Foundation and the Dr. Hugo Mendoza National Center for Research in Maternal and Child Health (CENISMI), an Assisted Learning Session (ALS) was held at the Dr. Robert Reid Cabral Children's Hospital.
The activity was attended by Dr. Jeannette Báez, director of CENISMI, along with the institution's technical, coordinating, and operational staff. This meeting is part of the health and bioethics research capacity-building activities that the Etikos Foundation is promoting in the region through The Global Health Network LAC (TGHN LAC) project, sponsored by the Wellcome Trust.
Objectives of the Activity
To present the vision and scope of the TGHN LAC project to participants.
To strengthen competencies in ethical and collaborative research in the field of maternal and child health.
To guide the CENISMI team in registering and using the TGHN digital platform and its specialized courses.
