Skills Sharing Workshops

Skills Sharing Workshops

Through our Regional Programme, we run a number of initiatives to support research skills training, enhance the research culture and strengthen research systems...

Workshops are a valuable and engaging way to learn, providing a fantastic opportunity for collective training sessions, skills transfer, networking and information sharing.

The range of workshops and format for delivering the sessions can be creatively designed to best serve the context of the learning. Initiatives such as these help to support and strengthen capacity at both an individual and institutional level. Workshops are a great way to deliver research skills training and meet the needs of different learning techniques.

Programmes can include practical sessions, brainstorming, interactive learning, building relationships, and problem-solving.

Workshops can be used to hone skills, share case studies, gather consensus and generate recommendations.

They also provide a great forum and a platform for establishing working groups.

This is important as an effective way for communities to influence and be part of the dialogue for international research efforts.
